Tom Bradbeer (16SL Assistant, 2017)
Tom Bradbeer has 14+ years of coaching experience, having coached girls with Phx North Valley Volleyball Club and Zia Volleyball Club as well as 2 years with Moon Valley High School’s varsity team. After a few years off for family time, Tom returned as assistant coach for the Basha High School Varsity Boys for a year followed by a year with Willis Junior High Boys.
An Arizona native who picked up the game as a Junior in High School in north Phoenix. Walked on and played at Long Beach City College as a starting Outside and back up setter. Took advantage of an opportunity to train for 6 months with a team in Japan and played for the University of Notre Dame Men’s team while earning his MBA and All-Tournament Team honors at the University of Michigan Club tournament. Participated for many years in the USAV AZ Region Men’s teams winning the inaugural Grand Canyon State Games Gold medal and representing the Region at the Men’s Open Championships. Also an avid sand volleyball player having won the Az State Championship (AOVA) back in the early 90s.
Tom is married to Heather (also a collegiate volleyball player with 8 years coaching experience) and has 4 kids (Jordan, Braxton, Kenzie and Langley) from 19 to 11. Braxton plays for the Fear 17s team.
