1st Annual Fear Beach 2's Tournament Recap
Fear had a historic evening on the beach courts, located at Victory Lane Sports Park. In our first annual beach tournament, we ran a 3 division field, with a 14's, 16's and 18's competing and learning the game. We had 8 full courts going at once, with 64 total boys sign up (32 total teams), which is the most that Arizona has seen for 18 & Under. Each team that signed up was guaranteed a minimum of 5 games, with at least 3 of pool play, followed by a double elimination bracket. This was such a special event for many reasons, not just for our club, but also for the growth of Boy's Volleyball in Arizona. We had players from all over the valley, which included high schools such as Brophy College Prep, Boulder Creek, Campo Verde, Catalina Foothills, Chandler, Deer Valley, Highland, Ironwood, Mesa, Mountain Ridge, Queen Creek, and Sandra Day O'Connor.
